Workshop Cancellation Policy
Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, scheduling flights and time spent preparing for the workshop. When students ask to cancel or reschedule, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low. There is a $50 fee of the initial deposit that is non-refunable for all workshops. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the workshop. You can find this information in each individual workshop listed on the website. Registration for all workshops close 2 weeks prior to its start date. After that point, no refunds or rain checks will be given for student cancellation. Students wishing to move or cancel their spot prior to the two-week cut-off may request a date/time change if space allows in another workshop. Traveling workshop student cancellations cannot be rescheduled. A refund will be issued prior to the two-week cut-off less the $50 fee. After the two-week cut-off, no refunds or rain checks will be given for student cancellation. If The Whimsical Chair cancels for any reason (weather, pandemic etc.) all students will receive a full refund. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY TRAVEL RELATED EXPENSES THAT STUDENT OR INSTRUCTOR MAY OCCUR.
